Bright Light Courtesy
Who the heck started teaching truck drivers to use their bright lights to show courtesy to other drivers? Has common sense gone out the window? There are so many reasons for drivers to not use bright lights to show a sign of courtesy!
First of all…it not only blinds the driver that’s passing, it also blinds oncoming traffic. When a driver is passing, they usually look in their right hand mirror about the same time one of these idiots use their bright lights to signal them over. Is it that hard to figure out green horns?
Next…do you drivers, who use bright light courtesy, know how much it costs to replace a dimmer switch in trucks these days? Try, hundreds of dollars, goof balls! It only costs a few dollars to replace the on-off switch. Quit being so darn lazy, steering wheel holders!
Finally…It wouldn’t be right without trying to teach the drivers how to do it the right way. So here it is! When another truck is passing you, wait for it to clear, then, use your headlight switch…on or off, depending if its daylight or at night, to signal the passing driver over. If your headlights stay on continuously, use your CB or don’t do anything at all. It’s all about common sense and doing your job the right way. Let’s get it together drivers!
